Describe the kinds of leadership and motivational systems you think would be most effective in this environment. Give your rationale.

Leadership and motivation are highly determined by cultural differences, attitudes, and behaviors of the individuals on the job. Considering both the implications of leadership and motivation, managers should accept societal behaviors and how they affect individual job performances (Deresky, 2017). In Poland or Bialystok, the culture of the locals would have to determine the leadership and motivation under which the managers would have to work on when setting a Chick-Fil-A fast food restaurant. The systems of leadership and motivation that would be effective in such an environment include:

Managers would have to understand the meaning of work among the Polish locals. They would have to learn and establish the reasons that drive the locals into working (necessity or achievement). There is an order of importance on how work is valued which include external and internal aspirations while others are motivated by their job conditions (Deresky, 2017). The information above can be beneficial for international managers in understanding behavioral attitudes towards working individuals.

When considering the hierarchy of needs of employees, it also varies from culture to culture; this means that what might apply to one culture might be offensive to a different culture (Deresky, 2017). Setting a Chick-Fil-A fast food restaurant in Poland coming from an American market would vary largely since the former is a European Union member who poses largely in leadership and motivation systems.

Employs may require training and information required for the companys goals and challenges. Teamwork should be applied by providing various platforms where employees can air their views without fear while also encouraging a feedback and reward system setup.

During motivation, theres a need to establish incentives and rewards as an integral part of it. Motivational patterns in different cultures to establish some appropriate reward systems varying from different company levels, occupation and experience among the employees (Fatehi, 2008). In some cultures. Employees may find it offensive to be offered monetary rewards and instead prefer promotions.

Discuss the kind of communication problems your managers might face in the host-country working environment. How should they prepare for and deal with these problems?

Communication in business is very crucial especially in international operating businesses where cross-cultural communication is essential. It is mandatory for businesses to realize the role of cross-cultural communication early enough when setting international businesses (Khosrow-Pour, 2003). Chick-Fil-A fast food restaurants managers should first of be able to understand the Polish communication process. The benefit of social media is now being realized by managers globally to both internal and external to the organization. Social media is a potential source of abundant information which includes customers wants, their dislikes and exactly how the brand is fairing in the market (Deresky, 2017). One of the biggest challenges posed by the use of social media networks is measuring the effectiveness of information sources and how it is of benefit to the company. Best way to deal with this is for managers to consider investing heavily in the way they interact with customers through social media in receiving both positive and negative feedback.

Communication is very crucial whether digital, oral, written and also listening and it demands the managers time (Hansen, 2010). The way managers communicate effectively cross-culturally is determined by the international business transactions success or the output of a diverse culturally workforce. Valuable ways to understand the cross-cultural communication process is by maximizing the opportunities to be able to establish the common meaning among both sides.

Communication is a complex process of sharing information between the sender and the receiver and is quickly changing and advancing technologically pushing businesses forward globally (Hansen, 2010). Due to these advancements, in most cross-cultural economies information is most likely to suffer distortion in the process pattern (Khosrow-Pour, 2003). Managers at Chick-Fil-A fast food restaurant in Poland should be able to come up collaboration where informal communication between parties (bosses and employees or the company and customers) is based on mutual trust.
