Explain the teaching role and responsibilities in education and training. Engaging the learners through an inclusive approach will further help empower students to meet their objectives. By using the differentiated approach while teaching will ensure that no student is left behind and ensure all students reach their full potential. My responsibility as a teacher is to uphold a professional relationship with students, value and support their educational needs. For teachers to create such a learning environment, they need to completely draw on students understanding to develop the curriculum. A teacher can promote the equality and diversity by identifying student barriers and boundaries. Since every student is different, a teacher must formulate a different strategy to promote inclusive learning. Social needs, religion, age, race and gender must be taken into account to promote equality and diversity. Equality means ensuring students are treated similar and not discriminated while their needs are met. A teacher should possess different styles of learning, listen and assist students to overcome their difficulties in learning. Thus, promoting equality by addressing bullying and discrimination may help students achieve their goals. Diversity can be defined as valuing people differences regardless of nationality, race, religion, sex or age. Teachers must recognize that teaching diverse students require monitoring and responding to students. Sociability and expectations of students, interpersonal relationships and cultural backgrounds should be considered while teaching students because every one of them bring diverse cultures, life style and diverse perspectives.
