The Butterfly Effect is a concept that is well featured in an article by Ed Lorenz who depicts a remarkable information and knowledge concerning the idea of pioneering, mathematics and meteorology concern inquiry into the world geographical knowledge. In a detailed analysis of the article, I extracted the suggestion that the Butterfly effect is an Ed Lorenz theory that outlines that even though a mistake during an experiment may be so minute, it may lead to yield huge results hence distorting the actual outcome of an investigation (Lorenz 14). In the application of Ed Lorenz theory and idea about the Butterfly Effect, I have learned that a single flap of the butterflys wings releases substances that result in Jurassic effects on the weather conditions some miles away from the point that the action takes place. Therefore, this article seeks to analyze Ed Lorenz and Dr. Gotfryd ideas about butterfly effect in, the theorys opinion about the steps that are usually taken to be minute but later results to colossal chaos and answers to questions regarding how meteorological concept of Butterfly Effect penetrates into the ideas of empowering the society.
In summarizing what Lorenz did, it is seen that he assumed the initial steps of the inquiry before re-examining and publishing the theory as for the way of saving time. However, he later discovered that results started to change drastically and at last, there were two different results (Siemens n.p.). In realization assuming the initial steps constituted to the fake results, Lorenz, therefore, laid a platform for realizing that though mistakes and errors might seem to be minor, the effects might result in unbelievable huge errors. In another aspect concerning weather, Ed Lorenz outlined that there was no precise prediction on whether changes since it is non-predictable. He later developed the knowledge that anything non-periodical can never guarantee a concise outcome, but instead there can be a random change in the weather.
On the other hand, Dr, Gotfryd laid strategies around pointing out the proactive and reactive climate change (GotFryd 1). He drove his point home about the butterfly effect by applying theories involving adaptation of humans to climate and the impacts of biodiversity. He later developed ways through which climate change supports proactive climate change. Dr. Gotfryd therefore successfully outlines the concept of the Butterfly Effect with the idea of proactive change which involves plans, setting goals, describing the social responsibilities and setting up driving factors that ensures success from the research (Siemens n,p.).
Taking a non-meteorological direction, the Butterfly Effects can be viewed from the outside conditions involving weather by using an example of the actions made by one of the employees in a company. For instance, if one employee shows high self-esteem by showing up early, working diligently and showing extraordinary commitment towards the work, then all other employees will be influenced by the concept of Butterfly effect to work in how the employee with high self-esteem works (Siemens n.p.). Therefore, a small change or influence a significant proportion of weather condition. Another non-meteorological approach is an example of a company that humiliates its employees by confining them to work with a dull non-fashion uniform. Changing the matter by giving the employees a better uniform will boost their self-esteem and make employees work better than their normal way of carrying out the business.
Therefore, Lorenz put across that the small things that usually results in substantial catastrophic problems. Through an analysis of Lorenz concepts on the Butterfly effect and connecting the matter with issues that are not related to meteorological aspects, I, therefore, have confidence that any little advancement can result in a huge positive change hence I will evaluate all possible ideas and apply them in real life situations in transforming the world.
