The internet has brought changes to how human beings live, produce, work and consume. With an expansion such as this technologies are bound to go digital in ways that can disrupt current models of industry, business, and government. Presently, the internet has become essential and is part of everybodys life. It is all over, newspapers and books are available on the internet. The rate at which it grows is astounding and this rapid development could either enable the system to advance or obliterate it. The amount of work that can be accomplished by the internet is enormous with endless possibilities. Access to online stores, communication platforms, electronic mail and computer programs are made possible by the internet. Different people and organizations around the world use the internet on a daily basis to achieve specific objectives. The growth of this sector has the potential of positive achievements. The developing new technology with its rapid advancement will keep computers updated, and the systems will be faster, powerful than ever and capable of achieving more complex tasks. As more people use the internet more information and ideas will be available.

The Internet is majorly involved with data and a considerable quantity of it. The rate at which the volumes of data are expanding is so high that most of the current data available are from the past two years. The use of mobile is also on the rise, and this leads to increase in personal data. Industrial data, on the other hand, is continually growing as more company and industry systems connect via the internet for example cars, industrial equipment, homes and various appliances. The growth of this sector will lead to advancements in the use of smart meters and automated, connected street lighting. The internet will reshape both private and public areas and create a new market for business, and the organizations will have to advance the security of their data and those of their customers (Schaffers, et al. 431).

As the internet keeps growing, it is highly likely that data transmission speeds will be increased all over the world. With many users, the cost of transmitting data will not be high making it possible to provide internet at a lower price, therefore, increasing speed. Wireless technology, on the other hand, will also evolve and give us the ability to use the internet with rates that can compare to broadband connections. This development will allow for devices to access the internet without requiring wires. This possibility will change the way we have been connecting to the internet as in the future connectivity will be streamlined and constant to the extent where the individual connection will not be necessary. Universal internet will slowly become a reality and pass or go between other systems (Geng Wu, et al. 37).

At such projected speeds, the internet will require firm and strict regulations, rules to govern the use of various forms of data available and highlight the need for relevance and appropriate approach of the technological pace. The internet is becoming more and more penetrating, and this is bound to create tension involving national interests and globalization. The rules that govern cyberspace will have to be developed to protect data and privacy. For organizations to be confident enough to carry out business transactions and pass information, the internet system has must be secure. This statement means that as the size of technical data grows there will exist an even more significant need for digital security services aimed at guarding the privacy of devices connected to the industrial grid. With cybercrimes rates also rising with time, the education, industrial, and government institutions face attack threats. The increase in the types and advancement of attacks and the potential destruction that can accrue due to blackmail or lose data have accelerated cybersecurity (Bakker and De Vreese 454).

Several devices allow us to access the internet from the real world, but the next generations will embed it into the real world in the form of augmented reality. Virtual reality, on the other hand, has witnessed significant growth and this with enough time will ensure virtual reality is a success. This situation will give people awareness as artificial intelligence will enable us to be aware of our world and behavior. Augmented reality will be developed to monitor and provide instant feedback on daily life (Geng Wu, et al. 37).

Currently, machines are capable of carrying out many manual tasks and are beginning to master highly intelligent and intellectual functions. The power of computers combined with advanced internet with endless possibilities, applications will make it work extremely fast so that little work and more resources will be available. Peoples need to work will decrease alongside job availability resulting in an imbalanced system. The future of internet might make the world jobless and with resources not correctly balanced.
