Question 1. Response

My main behavior change goal was reducing my consumption of carbohydrates and increasing the uptake of other nutrients instead. My strategy was to minimize eating whole grain, refined grain, and food nutrients that contained sugar or starch. The most significant motivation was the fact that by going through the behavior change plan, it would overall help reduce my body fat levels and make me healthy as well as a decrease body weight.

Question 2. Response

I chose to change my eating and drinking behavior because healthy food is a vital factor that I know of but havent always considered it. Somewhat, changing my practice has never been possible, thanks to a perception of difficulty and indecision to act. I decided of cutting down calories of sugars and starch because I researched about the subject more and quantitatively arrived at amounts and effective amounts. I decided once more to research about the remedial nutrients that I could increase the uptake through study material and also the internet and as well settled at fixed targets and in effect came up with a strategy.

Question3. Response

I was fortunate in my behavior change because I managed to stick to the plan and to overhaul my eating habits to a different method. I also managed to reduce the amount of starch and carbohydrates as well as oils that I would consume regularly. To measure my success, the overall result would have to be measurable. By having to measure the calorific value of the foods I take strictly, it did serve as a proper guideline mechanism that was effective. The most challenging thing was monitoring strictly the foods and calorific value I consume, most I was not used to, and I often felt deprived but had to trust the process. Among the things that were helpful in meeting my goal, was the presence of a written objective and plan. Besides, I dedicated myself to seeing the success of my behavior change.

If I would modify my goals in the foreseeable future, I would maybe slightly balance nutrients in general as against cutting uptake on a particular food nutrient. It is essential and recommended to have a balanced diet that wouldnt be adverse to the body and would suit the body functioning quite well. I would maintain the target of fiber stuff as the bowel movement was stable.

Question 4.

The behavior change or reducing food sugars and whole grain uptake were worth the effort in many ways. Reducing intake of carbohydrates means that less fat would be stored in the body and the excess fat in the body would be burnt. By increasing uptake of functional protein, it would overall result in efficient body growth or repair of tissues, which is translated as positive health progress. The increased absorption of Vitamin C and E means that the body stands a better chance of immunity and ability to fight diseases as well as better skin. It is recommendable to carry out a strategic nutritional overhaul with strict observance of calorific value as well as dietary value. One stands a good chance of health with my changing the behavior of taking in a lot of carbohydrates and being keen on proteins and vitamins.
