In numerous ways, I am down to earth, with few interests in life. Despite my uncreative nature, I am reliable and well organized both in my private life and in free lifestyle. My well-organized nature stems from narrow interests giving me ample space and time to put the little I have in order. Although in many ways I am conventional, I am not only social but also enjoy others company deriving a lot of pleasure and fulfillment from social interactions. I give credence to my down to earth attitude especially to my self-disciplined conduct a behavior that many a time gives me an edge over my close friends especially in striking out a balanced network of friends. I find my close friends trusting and having a lot of assurance in me in addition to considering me reliable and keen on personal and public aspects of life and social connections. It is no doubt that my social and outgoing nature has endowed me with the most forgiving spirit especially in overlooking wrongs and faults. However, my forgiving nature depends on many aspects of the relationship in question as at times I may go overboard and put my good natured sympathy above forgiving and courtesy. Additionally, my talkative nature has on many occasions worked well for me in building trust and maintaining a well organized and close knit social group. On a higher side, I tend to worry and exhibit a lot of nervous attitudes especially to issues that may be beyond my capability or stressful situations. In many occasions, I lack a calm spirit and tend to have an insecure perception concerning social and personal issues. On a typical case, I consider my personality to be well balanced in both private and public aspects.
My well-organized nature, social aspect, reliability, and agreeableness can play a decisive role in organizational effectiveness. According to Colbert, Barrick, & Bradley (2014), organizational effectiveness is all about achieving set objectives and goals. It is about accountability, excellent communication skills, helping other people develop, creating, and inculcating the necessary expertise and abilities to realize goals and the application of set strategies to work on operations and improvements. The above requires consistency in character, dependability, the ability to work with others as a team, and leadership qualities. My well-formulated skills would play a critical role in offering the organization efficient and relevant abilities to achieve effectiveness in whichever field it finds itself in and strategies implemented. Achieving organizational effectiveness requires team work and good organization regarding discipline, care, and trustworthiness (Li et al., 2014). These are attributes that are well articulated in work ethics and in working with others. As a people centered person, I believe that I can be in a good position to bring people together to achieve a common purpose towards organizational effectiveness. However, my worrying trend, anxiety, and narrow interest may hinder cohesive existence together with other members of the organization, an aspect that hinders organization effectiveness especially towards creating a formidable team in a given project. Additionally, my sophisticated attitude may not augur well with other members as it may hinder social cohesion, an important aspect of organization effectiveness especially towards working towards a common goal. On the other hand, and on a positive note, my originality, creativity, and curiosity are poised to enhance positive contribution within the organization especially in situations that require resources fullness, imagination, and inventiveness. The above qualities are poised to increase and improve on organizational effectiveness and at the same time help others improve their input and efficiency within the organization.
Organic structures employ and integrate different functions in addition to coordinating dynamic environments with the organization's needs (Green & Cluley 2014). The primary purpose is to enable ease of flow of information and adaptation to change. According to Green and Cluley (2014), the environment helps in building a quick response to the distribution and spread of information a critical aspect of a dynamic and maintaining an unstable environment. With rapid and lateral communication style, the organic structure may pose an enabling environment with my personality due to my outgoing and social nature. I would be better placed to adjust to an unstable environment in addition to getting along with others. Due to the lack of standardized procedures of strategies and organizational work, my social and outgoing nature would fit the structure because of its dynamic and lateral set up. On the other hand, within the mechanistic or bureaucratic structure, work is centralized, and formal, an aspect that may hinder my high level of socialization and irritability. However, the official aspect would best suit my organized personality, self-discipline, and great care in working with others and in life in general. However, my tendency to be nervous and anxious may not function well within the formal aspect of the structure. Since the organizational is formal and strict regarding procedures, my talkative nature may work against me. In such a situation, my effectiveness may be derailed and hindered. My social nature and good feeling in the company of others may not work very well especially due to the severe nature of the mechanistic structure.
