The competitive game (e-sports) in the current world should be recognized as a real sport or even Olympic sports. E-gaming is recognized to be the virtual sport, perhaps not a physical sport. It needs the requirement of a mental focus and many skills which also applies to real gaming. E-matches in the current world is increasing day by day, and the present children who are recognized to be growing in a digital era are being introduced to electronic gaming when they are young. This is making e-matches and gaming to be incredibly competitive just the same way us other physical sports, the view depend on how the society wants to make the definition of sport and does it have to be recognized as being a physical movement. With chess being recognized as a sport that is being played worldwide, requiring strategy and at the same time competitive, the same principles should be applied to e- matches and video games. With the technological development that the world is facing currently and will face in future, competitive game matches (e-sports) should be considered as a real sport or even Olympics sports through the following reasons discussed.
Firstly, gaming requires the same mental and physical strength demanded in a global sport or Olympic setup. Through different opinions received from individuals who are so involved and are participating in gaming, gaming requires and takes more mental prowess when the comparison is made to chess which is recognized in Olympic. In a video game environment a participant must learn how our opponents play; through this one can learn the rules and the norms in place for a competitive and a perfect match. Additionally, in physical sports, all is perfected through sporting, this is important, and even in video games and e-matches, all possess an entirely different style and rules that each game need to follow
Secondly, virtual gaming has become a worldwide experience. With the increasing level of technological development, even the undeveloped countries are finding themselves relent to the gaming technology. Surprisingly, in the United States of America, gaming has become one of the most popular sporting activity and a form of entertainment that is popular in both United Kingdom and the United States, going ahead of the music and the movie industry. Considering that the music and the film industry have been in existence forever a decade, it is quite surprising why the gaming industry is overtaking them while gaming has only been on the market for around half of it.
Additionally, the difference that makes gaming to be different from music, movies, and television is that in music and movies, the experience is based on what someone or something is doing, but in gaming, it's rather what you are doing since one can interact with the world where every one is sharing the same experience. This makes gaming to be recognized as one of the best experience that can be related to physical sports, and for this reason, e- matches should be included in the e-sports and Olympic sports. If all is taken into consideration adding the fact that there is the existence of formal teams, with financial stakes and holding of the official function we can take all of this in making the addition of official teams holding of official championships. With titles and financial stakes at hand, it would be utterly absurd not to recognize that video games are the sport. Through this, what stands out is that video game is shaping the world in an involving and a better direction and with this knowledge, it is necessary for the sporting department and the world to involve the video game.
In the past years, the term sport and the meaning of sport have been perceived in an entirely different way, which demands going outside to interact with others through various forms of involving activities that include jumping up and down, playing football, running and activities that can make one tired and even sweat. Technical, everything has diversified, and technology is changing things to work out in an entirely different perspective, and video gaming is becoming a sport that most individuals are now are pursuing, the problem is that this type of sporting activity is not recognized in the main events like Olympic. Furthermore, if sometimes of sports like nerf games, chess and hopscotch have been identified as sports, then there is no difference since e-sports are just the same as playing chess.
Logically, gaming is something that is developing, and when certain standards are raised, and different types of motivation are injected in the e- sports, then its worth being recognized in various sporting events. Not all e-sports should be accepted or even included in Olympic; I suppose that there can be experts and professionals and recommended e-sports games that need to be introduced in the Olympic. There should be a standard measure on how e-sporting should be managed so as to make it interesting enough and to ensure an exclusive design that can engage when the game is played. Ideally, there is no good reason when it comes to debunking virtual gaming as one of the recognizable sports or even a sport that is supposed to be recognized in the Olympic. My strong perception is that the participants of such virtual gaming events are sharing the same mentality as the real athletes.
Playing video game is not just sitting down and listening to music or just watching TV, it involves one taking the time to think and operate different types of equipment so as to control the gaming process. Technically, playing a video game is so important when it comes to developing our mind; it teaches us how to do stuff like bringing solutions to mathematical problems, teaching on the definition of words, it helps one to develop strategic skills like planning, controlling and managing different virtual and real situations. The same way football, hockey, and skating have a different level, and various experience gained when someone gets involved. Its hard to learn top playing table, tennis, basketball, and even hockey; it takes one time and serious practice so as to be perfect. The same principle also works with virtual gaming where one need to learn and involve serious training so as to win the game and even be good at it.
Sure, when it comes to sports like soccer and basketball, physical strength and skills is needed so as to play the main question, what about table chess or table tennis? Gaming is a different category and instead of making the comparison between the various activities. Basically, for those who are starting, sports needs a strategy, critical thought into action, memory, muscle, reaction and time and reflexes and the surprise is that both the activities require these. Ideally, noting that gaming is moving in a speedy manner into virtual reality, where everything is changing, and things are deviating from the physical world. With some argument of the cases going against the debate, with different critiques, stating that e-sports are making virtual gaming makes others unhealthy. Such statement is on the downside and is one-sided because gaming is considered as one of the healthy development when it comes to the elaboration of the brain since it allows increase when it comes to developing the mind. Gaming should view as not only a mental sports but also a physical game since the definition of sports involves an activity which is played competitively with the set of rules that are put in place to control. The gaming with the similarity that is existing between gaming and active sports is much more that most individuals are taking it to be.
Although virtual gaming needs to be recognized as a sport or even in Olympic, a lot needs to be since currently it is complicated and there is no standard measure that can be used to indicate any specific game to be played. Though focusing on the definition of sport, video gaming can be defined as the game since they involve a group or an individual playing against each other and even one team playing with another team. That is, of course, a form of e-sporting that involves gaming in an electronic manner. Some of the e- sporting includes shooting, strategy and fighting games, all of these gaming types are considered to be nonphysical activities. In the new flash sports, the definition sporting has, doesnt mention anything to deal with physical activities, and for this reason, if find it wrong for the Olympic and major sporting events not including gaming in part of their schedule. Though as a result of the current technological development, video games have become many and it has reached a point that one needs an application or just software to play, this makes it difficult to be incorporated in major sports or even Olympic.
Finally, skill-based competition in the society is the most important elements of sporting, and a video game has the sense of competitiveness that can drive individuals to perform to up to their full ability. Ideally not every person can become a soccer player, though the title is crowned on those who take the commitment seriously. For events like Olympic and other sporting events, technology should be incorporated since the world is changing and its totally moving to a more advanced technological development. For technology to embrace in the Olympic and sporting events, e- sporting is important.
