The outer game is essential since technical expertise and management are necessary to attain and be effective in senior roles. On the other hand, the inner game has more to do with character, courage, and conviction than with competencies. It enables a leader to act when situations are volatile and ambiguous. However, both aspects are necessary for effective leadership.
What points of leverage influence power control and strategies are given for increasing motivation and employee satisfaction?
A leverage point involves taking actions that have a lasting and positive impact on the desired results. However, it might be hard for organizations to find solutions that evolve their system and to give a sustainable improvement. Various points of leverage such as controlling negative feedback and encouraging positive response can be used to increase employee satisfaction. Additionally, ensuring material and information flow motivates the employees. Moreover, the organization's rules, culture, power structure and goals encourage employees to work harder.
What variables affect motivation and satisfaction? Why?
The various variables of motivation and satisfaction include; leadership styles, rewarding techniques, and work structure. The leadership style determines the level of employee motivation. The technique should not only focus on attaining the organization's goal but also on employee satisfaction. Likewise, employees feel more motivated when they get appreciated occasionally, either in monetary or non-monetary form; rewards encourage one to work harder. Work structure also affects employee satisfaction and organizations should ensure that duties assigned to employees match their ability.

Moreover, the nature of the task should give team members independence in decision making and provide them access to important projects.

There are various levels of leadership. At egocentric level, there is no mutual perspective, the leader is dictatorial and employees tend to feel more oppressed. Reactive leaders Identify themselves with what they believe is right and support their workers thus encouraging them to have a positive attitude towards their tasks. Creative leaders encourage employees to become self-managing and creatively involved in the success of the organization. Integral and Unitive leadership allows employees to have visionary, authentic and interpersonal competence.
Which level is closest to your present leadership style?
Creative level of leadership is closer to my present style of leadership. Creative leaders emphasizes on employee visions, values, and beliefs. They understand that following their own path may lead to failure or contradict the norms that are expected to be valuable and successful. Creative leadership style emphasizes on self-expression and cooperation. It also ensures that participating members are treated equally, and their rights are creatively aligned. Furthermore, it ensures a creative competency that encourages effective leadership and employee performance.
Which level is closest to your desired leadership style?
Integral leadership is closer to my desired leadership style. An integral mind has a competitive advantage and results to a highly effective form of leadership. Besides, if compared to other levels of leadership, it is suitable in leading the transformation of complex situations. This leadership engages members as participating partners and not just employees. Moreover, leaders are more concerned with ensuring human welfare, sustainability and long-term common good. It is a servant leadership that every member would be comfortable with.
It is important for leaders to have Emotional Intelligence (EI) to be effective in their organization. How do you apply (EI) in your organizational environment?
A leader's effectiveness is directly proportional to their emotional intelligence. Emotional intelligence predicts how effective a leader will be when faced with challenging situations. Applying emotional intelligence in an organization does not only involve managing emotions but rather engaging the intelligence tools with the potential of the current rational tools. It begins by clearly defining its critical importance through conducting a self-assessment of competency skills for staff members. A leader should also provide coaching and establish a platform for feedback.
